Fallon endorsed Culver at a public event two days after the June 2006 primary.

Less than two weeks after that, he backed Culver in a speech to the IDP state convention.

And you are telling me that he was considering running as an independent?

Sounds like Heuss made a mistake in her letter.

By the way, Boswell will NOT go on record promising not to pull a Joe Lieberman if he loses this primary.

Also, the post you link to about Fallon’s I’M for Iowa salary is inaccurate. You say he “lied” when he told the Register’s Thomas Beaumont that he took a “small draw” on the business last year. Go back and read that article. He is referring to taking a “small draw” in 2007, when the business was “just getting going.”

When Heuss says Fallon has received $3,000 per month from I’M for Iowa “this year,” she is referring to 2008.

Desmoinesdem do us all a favor and shut it. writing he was considering an independent run is no little mistake, and for the love of god stop trying to make noise about some absurd idea u have of boswell running as an independent against fallon if he looses. He is a 12 yr incumbent he can’t say that, have some political sense for once. The im for iowa thing is a big deal and its not going negative, its just vetting, you dont think the republicans will attack that you are living in a fairy land. There are so many shady things that are going on with that i dont even know where to begin with it. Fallon is going to lose and hopefully he will be done running for office

Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the personal sleaze of Fallon’s ugly affair during his marriage. I’m sorry to see that Lynn Heuss, who is a very decent and kind and lovely woman, has fallen for the likes of a loser like Ed Fallon.
