There is only one candidate who has actually demonstrated action for the working men and women of this country, and that man is John Edwards. That is why I am supporting him here in Ohio where the Maytag Company walked out and left our entire area high and dry. Now we have a HUGE empty facility sitting right on the main square in town; and citizens who could have retired in a year, 6 months, 3 months, are scrambling to hold it together in the evening of their lives. There are few living-wage jobs left, and John Edwards wants to create some by engaging in true progressive policy. Why people always vote against their paychecks has always been a mystery to me.
