As much as I dislike Lamberti, and he is dishonest, you have to admit that Boswell underperformed last year.

Boswell did way worse than Culver in the district and in Polk County. He beat Stan Thompson by a significantly larger margin in 2004.

I wish we had a stronger Democratic candidate than Boswell. On the other hand, we are going to lose a Congressional seat after the 2010 census anyway.

Just stumbled across this link late at night while killing some time. I went to high school with Jeff Lamberti. Specifically, we were in the same Chemistry class. He and his "pals" in that class consistently cheated on the exams in there. The teacher kept the key to the exam on his desk, and one of them would ask if they could get a Kleenex from his office at the rear of the room. They would go back, get the answers, and then pass them around the room.

He was a spoiled, arrogant, aloof bastard in high school because Daddy was a millionaire from his gas stations. I'm sure Daddy bought him his law degree as well as his political positions.

I'm glad I don't live in Iowa anymore!
