He's practically a Republican. Dept. of Homeland Security, No Child Left Behind, the PATRIOT Act, the war in Iraq, even HR 4437. And his pro-choice rating at NARAL is only 60%. If this is progress I don't know what to say. As a party you'd be better off supporting liberals like Fallon and/or Feingold. Why waste money on Boswell? He’s practically a Republican. Boswell may not be the most liberal guy in congress, but he votes with the Democrats a lot more often than he votes against them. The Democrats have momentum across the country, and we need to keep it going in Iowa, too. Among other things, Iowa will be an important state in the 2008 presidential election (and I'm talking about the general here, not just the caucus), and having momentum here will be really good for the Democratic presidential candidate.
