Snarkalicious.

The point is, though, that Kerry can use the member base he has built up in his online community to help the party out a lot. Every time someone signs a petition like that, they commit themselves subconsciously to opposing Bush. And in some ways, Kerry does run the party: he was their last presidential nominee.

And I decided it was too obvious to make "to give it another huge push" into a sex joke.

That'd be fine with me if he were interested in helping the party out, instead he just seems to be interested in making John Kerry more visible. And if he really is against the war, why didn't he stand up with Feingold? Basically it just makes me depressed and bitter to see my inbox looking like 2004.

Last semester in Iowa City Kerry opened a grassroots organizing training session by talking about how much he had been reading his bible since he lost. Gimme a break.

I agree with you completely. I get so annoyed everytime one of the messages pops up in my account, but I still skim them as sort of a sick obsession. I really just feel pity for the guy. Thinking that the Democracts would nominate him again is bordering on delusional. I mean I get it, he really really really really wants to be President. But if he thinks that moving to the left and sending out lots of e-mails is going to get him anywhere in 2008, then he really needs to get his head checked. The netroots has already found their man in Feingold. The beltway insiders have Hillary. And then a third horse will probably emerge as an alternative to Hillary that isn't Feingold, like an Edwards or Warner. But there certainly is no room for Kerry. You had your chance, so stop filling up my mailbox.

If was was going to sign it, I'd sign it: "My huge push is John Kerry into a garbage can. Way to lose the practically unlosable in 2004. Now go away."

Echoing what was said before, his first reaction after losing (and seeing the supposed "values" vote) was that the election "was a test from God."

What a tool.
