Nussle and Bush, Sitting in a Tree…

Thomas Beaumont covers Bush’sĀ impending arrival in Des Moines this afternoon to promote his prescription drug program and fundraise for Nussle.
Nussle, who expects to raise 750 grand at the event, tactfully responded to concerns that an association with Bush could hurt Republicans this fall:
“I think it’s very valuable, not only for my campaign, but valuable for President Bush to hear concerns from Iowans,” Nussle said in an interview.
I guess valuable is the operative word.
